Choo-Choo

Hi Blog Friends - I've become a lousy blogger these days. Life is wonderful...just busy, busy, busy.

The boys are fabulous...certainly keeping us on our toes. This weekend we headed to Lancaster, PA to ride the Choo-Choo! I wish I could have captured Carlton's excitement when we told him we were going to ride the train. We couldn't get him there fast enough. It was a great time enjoying the beautiful fall weather on the open air train car. Here are a few pics of the boys from Saturday....

Carlton showing off his orange choo-choo. He picked this out in the gift shop before we took our train ride. We also had to get sweat shirts because super-mom forgot to take jackets. Funny thing is we took them to the train about 6 months ago and Carlton picked out the exact same train that day too.

Watching them move the engine from the front to the back for the return trip.

Who? Me?

Jackson...cute as can be.

Jackson is now 20 months and doing fabulous. He's starting to say a handful of words. Tonight my heart melted when I walked in the door and heard him call for "MAMA"! His eating issues have improved greatly and he's pretty much eating everything. We are still thickening all his liquids until he has another barium swallow next month to make sure nothing is going into his windpipe. Like most little boys he loves watching Cars!

Carlton is my challenge lately. He's such a little love bug but has a HUGE temper to go along with it. He wants absolutely nothing to do with potty training and also hates to have his diaper changed. Can't win in that situation. He is typically pretty good with Jackson but has moments of being a little too rough and mean with his little bro. Jackson is starting to stand up to him a little more these days. Carlton's speech is improving every day and he's starting to respond to more questions and initiate more conversation.

They are both amazing!!!

In other news....you may recall this post I made a couple months ago...I'm happy to report that I am doing great, getting healthy and taking care of me!!! I've lost about 45 pounds, am fitting into clothes I haven't worn in years, donating clothes that are too big and feeling better than I have felt in years!!! I'm at the gym pretty much 7 days a week and working out with my absolutely amazing personal trainer 3x a week! I'm re-learning how to eat healthy and figuring out what my body needs. It's been an emotional time dealing with so much of what's gone on in my life in recent years, but I wouldn't change a thing! I'll share more of my journey with you soon....stay tuned.

That's about all the randomness I have for now...I'm off to dreamland. Sweet Dreams to all!

Happy kids are well and so beautiful...and you LOOK FANTASTIC. Talk to S. Scott; she has a friend that can take your "big clothes" and use them for woman starting over.

LOVE YA
